What you can expect

Six things, written down.

Sparkworx is one person, so there is no customer-services department to escalate to — which is exactly why these are worth writing down. This is what working with Gavin actually commits to.

01

The person you ring is the person who turns up

No engineer pool, no subcontractors, no "one of our team will be with you". You speak to Gavin, Gavin quotes it, Gavin does it. Every review on Google is about the same pair of hands.

02

You get told when a job isn't worth doing

Plenty of electrical enquiries turn out to be a ten-minute fix, and plenty of computers people are ready to replace don't need replacing. You'll be told that, even when it's the smaller invoice.

03

Notifiable work is certified, properly

Where domestic electrical work falls under Part P it is certified as such, and you keep the paperwork. That certificate is what a buyer's solicitor asks for years later — it's not admin, it's the value of the job.

04

Making good is part of the price

Walls, ceilings, carpets and cupboards go back as they were found. It isn't a line on the quote, it's the job being finished.

05

You can ring afterwards

Customers describe Sparkworx looking after them "over the years" and "for over 5 years now". That only happens if the phone still gets answered once the invoice is paid. It does.

06

Nothing on this website is invented

Every review quoted here is a real, verifiable Google review from a real customer. Every claim about the company — registered 12 August 2019, company number 12151836 — can be checked on Companies House in thirty seconds. Where something can't be independently verified, it's worded as a claim, not a fact.

Hold him to them.

That is the advantage of a one-man band: there is exactly one person to hold responsible, and he answers his own phone.
